To Ponder

I often think I should practice more portraits of people that I know.  This women was a model for a figure drawing class.  The subject matter that I want to cover is truly endless.

This painting was done with a new medium, water based oil paint!  I love it so far and I will try again!

This is India Point Park in Providence RI.  Beautiful views of the harbor, with small boats coming and going.

My Elementary School

This is Colt elementary school in Bristol, I attended here in the fifth grade.  During recess all we needed was a note from our parents and we could stroll downtown to buy pizza, ice cream, or stop at the bakery, candy store, library or post office.  Now you can't beat that recess! Of course today the children are probably not allowed to venture off at lunchtime.  This opportunity lended itself to our free spirited nature.  Jana and I would also walk home from school for quite a few miles!
