David and Doug on the 4th of July
David and Douglas standing on the wall with the Bristol harbor in the background. My Greatgrandparents lived in Bristol for many years and I went to elementary school there. What fond memories I have of the Bristol 4th of July Parade!
Skye
My Goldendoodle dog, her name is Skye...
When she is not a puppy I'll take her out on "plein air painting excursions" that means painting outdoors. After all that is one of the reasons we named her Skye, after mother nature. She is a nature lover!

Painting is like reading...
Every time you change the subject matter in a painting your onto a new story.
When I study a new set of objects or places or people it is like opening a new book.
I look forward to every new adventure.
Even "still life" objects are interesting and dynamic!

View from Beavertail
This is a photo that I took the day of my brothers wedding, I will turn this into an oil painting. A feast for the eyes, that calms the soul.

November Flowers
This still life was painted outdoors, the flowers are set in a coral colored vase that sits on top of a picnic table in my backyard. The month was November and this was the last warm day.
Shane
This painting was a gift for my nephew Shane, he is the first person in our family to receive a baseball scholarship to college. He is attending the University of New Haven in CT. Congratulations Shane!
Love,

White Flowers in a Cobalt Vase
I lose track of time when I paint, I remember feeling totaly focused on the moment while I painted this still life.
November Flowers
Every year around the holidays I tend to feel melancholy over the loss of my beloved mother. These flowers were sent to me from my husbands mother to cheer me, and they did.
Tire Swing
Thank-you Glenn Lonardo for attaching rope to the highest tree branch in Cranston! The children of the neighborhood have a lifetime of memories on this tire swing!
